Each card is a 1080 by 1350 PNG, the size Instagram, Threads and Bluesky show without cropping. On a phone, open the card and save the image.
How each number is worked out
For the sample library's 2026:
- Pages: the Number of Pages of every book read that year, added up: 5,776 across 17 books.
- Average length: total pages over books with a page count: 5,776 ÷ 17 = 340 pages.
- Longest: the largest page count, Moby-Dick at 635.
- Books per month: by the month of each date read; February led with 4.
- Top authors: books per author; Jane Austen with 3.
- Average rating: only books you rated count. A rating of 0 in the export means unrated. The sample has 2 two-star, 4 three-star, 4 four-star and 5 five-star books: 57 stars over 15 books, 3.8.
Questions people ask next
Why are my pages lower than I expected?
Books with no page count in Goodreads add nothing to pages. The page names how many books that left out. Pages follow the edition you shelved, so a different edition can change the total.
Do rereads count?
A book counts once, in the year of the date read the export holds for it.
Can I compare two years?
Yes. Switch years with the buttons above the cards and the numbers redraw.
Do I need a Goodreads app?
No. Export from goodreads.com in a browser and drop the file here.
